Author Bio

Dan Krueger is an ‘Indie’ author experimenting with different publishing resources like Lulu and Ingram Spark.  Two of his recently published works center around biblical reference and study material.  His most recent book, ‘Final Departures’ is a collection of short stories from a Christian viewpoint.  Please check out the posts on this site for more information.

In addition, there are some non-published writings developed to assist others.  For example, devotions that could be used with prisoners or anyone needing assurance of God’s faithfulness in all circumstances of life.  A book of advice from father to son based on Proverbs 3.  Newsletter articles for the youth group he and his wife and were leading.  Forward in Christ magazine published two of his essays, written from the personal perspective of a father of children with special needs, pointing people to their Heavenly Father.   And just for fun, a magazine journal covering several seasons of his favorite sports team.

Lengthier writings involve clarifying scriptural topics in a form that is intended to be engaging and easy to follow. The desire is that readers will question the author’s perspective and continue to explore the topics in greater degree.

His background includes over 12 years leading a weekly bible study at a county detention center and serving his congregation as an Elder.

Just a Thought:

I don’t scream anymore.  That occurred to me as I watched a high school volleyball team react to scoring a point.  Their screams of excitement reminded me of my younger days.  Especially when playing sports, the excitement of youth was automatic and unconscious.  We don’t do that at work.  It would be good if once or twice a year we would be so excited about something we did or something that went well that we just went crazy and yelled.

What does it profit if you gain the world but lose your soul
